Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) govern all purchases made through the Paint Studio online shop at paintstudio.net. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

1. Seller information

This shop is operated by Paint Studio LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”).

2. Products and services

We offer a range of products through our shop, including:

Painting services (such as Interior Room Painting) carried out on site in the Chicago area.
Consultations (such as the Color Consultation), provided in person or remotely.
On-site estimates, which may be offered free of charge or as a priority paid service.
Digital products (such as downloadable e-books), delivered electronically.
Gift cards, redeemable toward our products and services.
Supplies (such as the Touch-Up Kit), shipped as physical goods.

Product descriptions, photos and prices are provided in good faith. Minor variations in color, packaging or availability may occur.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are shown on the product page and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

Payment is due in full at the time of purchase, through the payment methods offered at checkout. Your order is confirmed once payment has been received and you receive a confirmation email.

4. Painting services and on-site work

For painting services and consultations booked through the shop:

After purchase, we will contact you to schedule a date and confirm the details of the work.
A purchased service covers the scope described on the product page. Any additional work will be quoted separately and requires your approval before we proceed.
You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area. Furniture and valuables should be moved or protected unless we have agreed otherwise.
Timeframes given are estimates and may be affected by weather, wall condition or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Digital products

Digital products (such as e-books) are delivered by download or email after payment is confirmed. Because these items are made available immediately, they are non-refundable once the download has started, except where required by law.

6. Gift cards

Gift cards are redeemable toward Paint Studio products and services. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Please keep your gift card code safe; we are not responsible for lost or shared codes.

7. Physical goods and shipping

Physical products (such as the Touch-Up Kit) are shipped to the address provided at checkout. Delivery times are estimates. Risk of loss passes to you once the item is delivered to the carrier or to you.

8. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Services and consultations: You may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before the scheduled date for a full refund or credit. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance may be subject to a fee.
Physical goods: Unused items in their original condition may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item was faulty.
Digital products: Non-refundable once downloaded (see Section 5).
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within a reasonable time.

9. Warranty on painting work

We stand behind the quality of our work. If a defect in our workmanship appears within a reasonable period after completion, contact us and we will assess and, where appropriate, correct the issue at no additional cost. This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear, misuse, moisture problems unrelated to our work, or changes made by others.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States. Any dispute relating to a purchase will be subject to the competent courts of Cook County, Illinois, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law.
